Not-So-Common Shopping at Destin Commons

Hilton Garden Inn Fort Walton Beach FL Destin Commons

Destin Commons, Destin FL

Gone are the days of the tourist shops that are filled wall-to-wall with kitsch and other things you’ll never use. Destin Commons brings urban shopping, dining and entertainment directly to the white sands of Destin.

We know the beach is probably your priority here on the Gulf Coast, but on days where the clouds seem stuck in the sky or maybe you just need a break from the sun, Destin Commons has something for everyone in your group.

If shopping is your passion, you might want to bring an empty suitcase … because Destin Commons is lined with stores you will want to check out.

With trendy clothing at H&M, cosmetic and bath products at Lush, and Pandora jewelry for those special occasions, finding a place to start will be your hardest decision at Destin Commons.

So, you’re a big movie buff and the new blockbuster is hitting the big screen while you’re on vacation? No need to fret because Destin Commons has a full size AMC theater with 14 screens and stadium seating throughout.

Hunger seems to strike without warning, but if it’s going to happen, you’ll be glad it happened at Destin Commons.

The usual suspects such as Chipotle and Panera are on scene, but if you want a truly unique experience, stop by Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill. This underwater themed restaurant will have you feeling like you’re dining with Davy Jones. And if you hear a loud crash, odds are it’s the indoor bowling alley and not the new waiter dropping a tray. (You have to try the Fried Alligator.)

When the sun falls and you’re looking for a cool place to spend the evening, shuffle over to World of Beer to try some craft beers and appetizers while you listen to live music.

Shop until you drop … onto a beach towel.

Destin Commons is located at 4100 Legendary Drive in Destin FL. For more information or to view a map of the entire plaza, visit the website or call (850) 337-8700.
