KC Harrison, Owner of KC’s and TapWorks, decided to add tapas to her repertoire with Taste Tapas & Wine Bar.
Tapas originated in Spain as a small “cover” to keep flies out of fruity drinks. Since then, these small bites have been popularized all over the world. Christina, the Chef at Taste, wanted to broaden the scope.
“We wanted to do more than just Spanish tapas,” she says. “That’s why we have a wide range of flavors and dishes. We even change our menu with the seasons.”
That wide range of flavors ends up looking a lot like everything from Pad Thai Shrimp Tacos to the locally adored Sweet Potato Truffle Fries with Honey Sriracha.
“It’s nice to be able to sample and pick at different tapas,” says Christina. “You don’t have to commit to a full meal.”
And with such an eclectic food menu, the drink menu has been given the same attention. Jazz up your tapas experience with signature drinks like the Bourbon Bramble with fresh fruit or Bacon Bourbon with a strip of chocolate covered bacon inside!
Taste also offers an impressive brunch menu on both Saturday and Sunday. The kicker? Bottomless mimosas for $5 — they even bring you the champagne and orange juice so you don’t have to wait for a refill. Be prepared to wait in line because Taste brunch is super popular!
“Taste is just the kind of place where you can come for a romantic date night, but you could also bring kids,” says Christina. “Because we want people to be able to bring their kids, we will also take orders off the KC’s menu and bring them here.”
So bring the whole family to Taste today!
